Visitor privacy

This website records daily page-view totals grouped by country and, when available, approximate city to understand its readership. A page view is counted after the homepage remains visible for eight seconds.

The counter stores only the date, country code, approximate city, and aggregate total. If a city cannot be estimated, the visit is kept only in the country total. It does not store IP addresses, individual browsing records, or visitor identifiers, and it does not set analytics cookies. Location estimates use the hosting network and a downloaded DB-IP city database stored with this website. The server briefly uses the connection IP address to look up an approximate city, then saves only aggregate counts. It does not send the address to a separate geolocation or analytics service, and does not request browser location permission. Hosting infrastructure may keep its own operational request logs.

Daily totals older than a year are deleted when new visits are recorded. Common bots and automated tests are filtered where possible. Counts and locations are estimates, not a count of unique people or precise locations.
